Siren ePCR Suite's accurate data capture (a Medusa Medical Technologies Inc. product) helps the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) improve their billing system, with only 0.2 per cent of its accounts going to small claims court. While 40-80 per cent of medical bills contain errors, implementing a thoughtfully designed ePCR system such as Siren can result in exceptional numbers such as EMSA's.

EMSA - Tulsa and Olkahoma City's EMS agency and one of Siren's long-time partners, conducts over 130,000 transports per year. Only 230 of these accounts, less than 0.2 per cent, end up in small claims court. Siren ePCR Suite provides the foundation for EMSA's impressive billing record.

As EMSA's paramedics chart in the field, accurate and complete data from their patient encounter is automatically exported to their third-party billing system through Siren's robust billing interface. This helps EMSA invoice faster, improves ePCR workflow, and cuts down on administrative time.

In a 2003 study by USA Today, Tulsa and Oklahoma City was ranked in the top five cities in the country when it comes to saving lives because of EMSA. EMSA has also been cited in the top 1 per cent of all ambulatory service providers in the U.S. for receiving accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services, which promotes quality patient care in American's medical transportation systems.

We are proud that Siren provides the foundation for EMSA's billing process, and that our ePCR solution is helping EMSA help the citizens of Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
